AND THATS LIFE.

Disclaimer: This is a little for me but written after a conversation I had. So I'm about to vent, so for those who don't want to hear it, you are welcome to click that red box with the X in it. Or for mac users, the red dot in the left corner.

I'm sick of hearing people complaining. There are people in this world who have every damn last fucking right to complain. People who are victims of genocide or rape or murder, or natural disasters. People who have watched helplessly as their family members die and people who can't bring themselves to sleep at night because they're worried of who might sneak into their rooms. Men, women, children who work for measly 20 cents a day, or less. These people have every right to complain. But they don't fucking complain. They pick up their shit and move forward, and they are stronger for it. Because when bad shit happens, what left is there to do?

I'm tired of my peers today (myself included) who seem like they are never satisfied with their life. Do you forget where you are? In fucking America. There are places around the world who don't even have to right of free speech (let's see you complain in China). We are lucky to live in a society so fruitful, so resilient, so abundant in resources. We live in excess, pure unadulterated EXCESS and for some that's still not enough. True, some people have better opportunities then others but everyone has SOME opportunity and SOME potential, you just have to be motivated enough to look for it. Or, you can sit there and complain.

Do something for yourself. Get out of that chair, stop watching that stupid sitcom, shave your legs, ride a bike, pull a Nike, and just DO IT. Start somewhere, focus and commit and everything else will fall in place. TRUST. Sure, you may not have any direction right now, but find your way, make your way, fucking kick, scratch and punch your way. Let the world know you're here.

Sure, there's plenty of people in the world who have the ABSOLUTE RIGHT TO COMPLAIN. But in contrast to popular belief, many do not. You should be so lucky that you have food on the table and a roof over your head and yes, even your miserable job, because only God knows how many people before you would have died for the right.

Pardon my French.

xx, former complainer
