Journalism Association of Community Colleges
In honor of my Talon Marks press pass retiring, a couple of pictures from one of the last times we were all together.
7 April 2011: Boarding the bus.
Eight hours on a bus goes by pretty quick when you're engaged in a hot and heavy game of catagories or the movie game. I must admit, it got pretty ugly.
Get to Sacramento. Sign in. Go to orientations. Go to Alicia's room. Unpack. Unwind.
8 April 2011: The day of no sleep.
Wake up at the crack of dawn. More orientations and maybe a workshop or two. Go to Sacramento State. Run to do team feature competition, run to complete feature photo competition, run to do sports competition. Come back to the hotel and have just enough time to eat a pack of star wars gummies before running back downstairs to enter my photos for the competition. Miss Talon Marks dinner. Sulk. Return to Alicia's to loiter. Begin to see everyone for more than a passing glance. Happy again. Order food and start to work on team feature until 5 in the morning. Resist urge to rip off Joey's head after the sixth hour of work. Nap for an hour. Shower. Run downstairs again to turn in our submission at 8 in the morning. DRAINED.

9 April 2011: Awards Day
Still no sleep.
10 April 2011: The ride home.
These next two pictures are of a game we played involving goggles. Ask me when you see me and you can play :)
Bacon sundaes.
